Heartburn Medication Under Review After Possible Link to Cancer

Photo from amazon.com

Walmart, Walgreens, and CVS have all recalled medication containing ranitidine. The most common of these would be Zantac which is used as a heartburn relief and for acid reflux. They found that there is an impurity in the product that could cause cancer.

Most all products have been taken off the shelves while the US Food and Drug Administration conducts their review on the products.

Customers who have bought any of these medications can get a refund depending on what store they purchased it from.
